Service Contract

SoundSkin Warranty and Service Policy

We are factory authorized to service SmartPeel and GentlePeel Systems

 

    (1) All SoundSkin products have a one year warranty carefully described in our sales contract.

    (2) When service is indicated, the owner calls Soundskin at 888-98-SOUND.  We will first attempt service over the phone, which is normally successful.  If unable to service over the phone, the owner can choose to ship the system to the Soundskin repair center for service.

    (3) Soundskin will evaluate the system and then phone or fax an estimate of repair, including parts and labor, to the owner.

    (4) There is a standard $250.00 labor charge for all repairs.

    (5) With the owner's approval, Soundskin will then service the system. If the owner decides to not have the system serviced, Soundskin will ship back the system, with the owner responsible for shipping charges.

    (6) Soundskin will contact the owner when the system is serviced.  The owner then decides the method of shipment.

    (7) After shipping decision is made, the total amount due will be given.

    (8) This amount is to be paid before shipping.

    (9) Soundskin accepts payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Paypal.

    (10) All repairs have a sixty day warranty from the date of service.

    PLEASE NOTE: The Smartpeel has been designed for minimum crystal consumption and our crystal is manufactured to a very demanding specification.  The use of other crystal can compromise the Smartpeel system and its component parts.
